| Smooth Jazz
guitarist, keyboardist and singer Paul CruiZe, is a product of the world-renowned
music scene of Detroit, Michigan. Now a proud Arizona transplant, Paul spent his music career performing with many great artists and traveling the world with bands ranging from Funk and R&B, to Jazz Fusion and Heavy Metal. His love, appreciation and skill in several musical genres lead him into the music production field where he lent his talents for several years. After producing music for industrial films, advertising firms, film scores, theatre and album projects, Paul has turned his sights toward a career in the Smooth Jazz field. His first solo CD effort, “CruiZe Control” has gotten rave reviews worldwide, creating loyal fans wherever it is played. Paul’s extensive experience in various genres of music have led him to produce one of the most creative, moving and emotional instrumental albums available. From the title cut “CruiZe Control”, with it’s groovy “chillin’ down the highway” vibe, to the extremely sexy “Whatever the Lady Wants”, CruiZe leads you on a musical escapade that is guaranteed to chill your socks off. His covers of “Broken Wings and Sade’s “Kiss of Life” are nothing short of marvelous, and originals like “The Return of Alvarez” and “I’m Missin’ U” are modern masterpieces. It’s even more incredible when you discover from the CD liner notes that every instrument and every voice on the album is Paul CruiZe! Each track on this album was carefully sculpted to create a vibe that Paul calls “Smoove Groove.” It is a unique blend of Smooth Jazz, Ambient, and modern Groove that he describes as “stress relieving music.” It is designed to take the listener on an emotional journey through melodic audio textures and soothing grooves that will chill you like an ocean breeze on a hot night! Paul's live performance is an equally
exciting experience, that ranges from the intimate (solo guitar with
backing tracks), to the extreme (full band with an intense stage show). |
